An Early Years Playroom and Early Learning Space

In these times where most children are homeschooling, maybe now could a good time to think about transforming that spare room into a children's playroom, early learning or study room for the older children.

That is precisely what Paragon did for a returning client of ours in London. After completing a full fit-out at the residence, there was one room remaining in the basement. Our Design Director, Jeff, worked in conjunction with the clients to transform the space into early learning and playroom. We fitted two walls with adjustable shelving with low-level cupboards and drawers to store toys, books, games, pens, paints and paper. This was painted in Farrow and Ball Elephants Breath paint. We used solid Oak for the worktop space. We fitted the third wall with a solid Oak desktop with a full-length Pinboard above the desk area. This completed the room's design, and as the children grow, the furniture will provide storage and space for learning materials and studying at the desk.
